After a successful 6 years as a boutique real estate brokerage in Historic Downtown Sanford, shreve&company LLC closed March 2014 and joined RE/MAX Town Centre in Downtown Orlando.

With expanded exposure to a national and international real estate market, Maria S Shreve, Broker/Associate, is excited about the new adventure while still delivering the excellent customer service her clients have come to expect.
Because Orlando Real Estate has such a wide span across the market, I specialize in historic homes (single family residences and income property) for sale in Sanford and Downtown Orlando, Florida.

As a Historic Homeowner, I understand the challenges of renovating and maintaining an older home. I have lived in the Orlando area for over 21 years. My dedication to preserving Historic Homes is evident through my associations:

REMAX Town Centre Broker/Associate
Member of the Community Redevelopment Agency
Former Member of the Historic Preservation Board
Member of the Sanford Historic Trust
Chairperson for the 2002 and 2003 Annual Holiday Home Tour for the Historic Trust
Homes on Tour 2001, 2004 and 2007 Annual Holiday Home Tour
Owner shreve&company LLC, March 2008-March 2014

Known as the Historic Waterfront Gateway City, Sanford sits on the southern shore of Lake Monroe at the head of navigation on the St. Johns River. Native Americans first settled in the area thousands of years before the city was formed. The Seminoles would arrive in the area in the 18th century. During the Second Seminole War in 1836, the United States Army established Camp Monroe and built a road that is currently known as Mellonville Avenue. The city sits approximately 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Orlando.

Sanford is home to Seminole State College of Florida and the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens. The Orlando Sanford International Airport, which headquarters the Delta Connection Academy, functions as the secondary commercial airport in the Orlando metropolitan area.
